Donating to Funds
Donations of all sizes are accepted and tax receipts will be issued for any donation of $20 or more. The Canadian Rugby Foundation is pleased to offer assistance in collecting donations and new funds can take advantage of our monthly automatic withdrawal plan. It costs nothing to use and will aid in collecting donations from those who wish to make smaller, monthly, contributions of $5 per month or more. It is easy to set up and use, and requires nothing from the donor past the initial set-up forms. Tax receipts for this form of donation will be written at the end of the calendar year for the total amount donated.
Donations are also accepted in the standard format of a written cheque – either a one-time donation or a series of post-dated cheques. Donors can also bequeath money to their chosen fund in their wills or can make a contribution by purchasing a Life Insurance Policy in the name of the Canadian Rugby Foundation. As well, donations of stock to the Foundation provide the donor with an enhanced tax exemption.
